Euphoria: a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.

Ah. Time sure gets lost over here. Especially not working yet. The last week has been vacation time.

Shark's blood.

Step One: Wake up. ( Whenever I want! )
Immediately following: Coffee.
Step Two: Beach, Beach, Beach.
Step Three: Sunset.
Step Four: Dinner.
Repeat.

Easy enough. I'm already a few shades darker and my freckles are taking over. It's been a consistent pattern of, not much. But everyday holds something new. Yesterday was AMAZING. We spent most of the day at big beach where I got to watch a gigantic pod of dolphins rising and falling in the ocean. Jumping out of the water, spinning around- as if they were showing off. I saw sea turtles poking their heads up for air in the midst of the waves. Wild mountain goats right off the beach. National geographic status. Ocean + Animals..... My all time favorites, hands down.

  Oneuli Beach. Black Sand.

Made it to sunset before a delicious dinner at Monkeypod in Wailea. I had fish & chips, and possibly too much to drink.

After dinner, a few of us got a room at the Marriott where I spent the rest of the night swimming under the stars in the infinity pool.

 infinity pool.

It's elevated perfectly, the water flows over the walls as if it is connected to the ocean and goes on forever. Ridiculous, really. So incredible.

good morning.

oh my, i love kitty cuddles.

Life was definitely not bad before here, but it sure is a different kind of amazing these days.

Sunset.

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

"like a wave on the ocean, i will always come right back to you."

I didn't move much over, just a few of my favorite antique pieces i've collected over the years. I found most of these treasure hunting thrift stores. Love 'em.

zzz, sweet dreams.

Here it is! My little home. I love it here. I'm living with my older brother, Josh & his fiancĂ©, Devan. It's a pretty easy transition. Dev and I met in middle school and she was my best friend growing up. She's mellow, easy going- our personalities are similar so we get along really well. My brother and I have had our ups and downs- sibling rivalry, typical. He's a wildcard, but I love him and I believe this will only build our relationship. Josh works on a fishing boat in Alaska for certain seasons & is leaving tomorrow for a month or two. Just a ladies palace for a while. Girls gone wild... Just kidding. (- Kind of.)

Josh & Devan.

Some of you may know, I grew up here as a little girl and have been back and forth for most of my life. Maui has always filled a pretty big spot in my heart, and although somewhat familiar- This move is completely uncharted territory. A life move can come with a tornado of mixed emotions and so many variables. So many unanswered questions. For me, I guess the biggest one was if I was going to regret it. I don't. Not even for one second. Being here, the only regret I may have is not coming sooner! But timing is everything, and it definitely feels right.

Devan & I.

My mane is going to be wind blown into a tangle of dreads in no time.
