Today would have been my dad's 51st birthday! For those of you that down know, I spent most of my childhood here with him. We moved over here when I was a baby for his work. Maui has always held a pretty special place in my heart for that reason, and has always felt like home. This morning we went up to Haleakala for sunrise, it's 10,000 feet up. SO, it's pretty chilly- usually windy, foggy and raining. Not today. It was honestly perfect. Just still and silent. Not to mention breathtaking.

Kihei was a bit gloomy tonight, I wasn't expecting much out of the sunset. But still I went to the beach where we scattered my dad's ashes, and the sky turned into fire. 

I can't help but to think afterlife is still somewhere out there when I see and feel so much of him in these places.  

Sensational.

 Second day working on the Paragon. I'm so in love with being on the water, learning how to sail. It's a new unexplainable kind of excitement. I can't wait for whale season, it's just around the corner.

Tonight's sunset was sensational, maybe my favorite one yet.

I've been a busy bee, but start work on Saturday! I am so ready.
